Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture; and Mint Museum Uptown. These tours are open FREE to all Sustainer, Benefactor, and Crown Society members of the Mint, as well as the upper-level members of the other two museums. They are offered approximately quarterly as curatorial and creative staffs at each museum draw common threads among the exhibitions on view. Tour experiences last approximately 2.5 hours as attendees visit each museum and conclude the experience with a light reception and mingling. To upgrade your membership and find out about the next tour, visit mintmuseum.org/join or contact 704.337.2041.
Culinary arts blend with Mint Museum Uptown for an appetizing cultural experience. Explore a food tasting tour with small plate and drink pairings at remarkable restaurants near the Mint. Afterward, unwind with a one-hour exploration of the arts led by a Mint expert who will provide insight into the American, Contemporary, and Craft + Design collections along with special limited-engagement exhibitions.
